And by doing so stymies attempts at forging a united front against an intransigent regime!! Never heard of such a thing happening - not in all my born days... Here's a thought; maybe Russia and China are doing this because they are SANE i.e. are not in thrawl to corrupt, carpet-bagging, warmongering, lying, conniving, incompetent and just-plain-stupid leaders. No names mentioned, of course. But, seriously, consider that thought - the Russians and the Chinese are doing this because they see the end result (a nuke-armed Iran) as inevitable, so attempts to use harsh sanctions or force is not only pointless, but actually makes the end result worse. Because if the endgame is inevitable then trying to FORCE Iran to stop will simply give her the motive and the justification for (eventually) retaliating in kind. So unless you plan to turn ALL of Iran into a big bubble of molten glass then YOUR plan just ain't gonna work, and the Russians and Chinese ARE being sensible.
