It seems plain to anyone outside of Israel that the country is fomenting its own worst enemy on its borders. What did you think would happen when you built walls, treated Palestinians almost like slave labour etc? I find it interesting that none of the comments haranguing the writer actually answers the issue of how Israel has behaved like a colonial nation of the worst kind, and by this I am referring to the deliberate blocking of infrastructure and economic development in the Gaza strip and West Bank (electricity, ports, factories) for its own economic and political ends, a deliberate miserification of a subject people. It seems to me that it is the criticism of the article that uses selective reason and facts. Surely there must be more people with vision to take a different road than the jack boot.
