Yael Patir, Israel director of the left-leaning U.S. Jewish body, sat down with Haaretz to talk about Trump, the gap between U.S. and Israeli Jews, and the growing anger at the Israeli peace camp. Though she concedes boycott efforts by some on the left have a negative effect, she rejects calls to keep peace efforts local.01:12 01.05.16 | 2 comments
Moshe Arens' impassioned article misses the point again. As long as biased people like Arens believe that God favors his clan, and dispises others, those people will have no problem killing those others. We did it in the United States when we believed that God wanted the European culture to rule the land, and we killed the Native Americans (Indians) with the fervor of the righteous. Mr. Arens would like to continue that brutal practice in Israel and Palestine. Mr. Arens, you are using brutality that is a century and a half out of date. There is a huge population of ethical and intelligent people in Israel. Unfortunately, none of them helped write Mr. Arens' article.
