This is not for the first time that I have read this. Hitler was rejected from an architectural school (was it the Bauhaus?) where most professiors were Jewish. Hitler's concept of architecture trended towards the Romantic whereas the current ideology at that time was modernism and the International Style. Ironically, when Hitler was chosen as Chancellor in 1933, the head of the Bauhaus school, architect Mies Van Deroe who was Jewish, wrote a letter to Hitler asking him to allow Bauhaus design to become the architecture for the new Third Reich.
