Why are the Hebron settlers entitled to IDF protection but at the same time are not answerable to IDF orders as everyone else is? Why does the army have to waste its valuable financial and human resources staging an evacuation of an outlaw faction with self-appointed laws that represent no one else in Israel? It's about time that someone in the government got the guts to put their foot down and tell the Hebron settlers unconditionally - either obey police and army orders as Israelis citizens, or you'll get no protection. These people are not only presenting a disgraceful image for other members of the settler population who do not resort to such modes of conduct, but they are also staining all Israelis with their behavior.
