The last paragraph could suggest that certain "Jewish leaders in New York" would prefer that Israel send someone they know to the UN as it would be easier for them to explain the individual to to New York's Jewish community. Where does this "explaining take place?" Who does the "explaining?" Who is invited to the -- shall we call it -- the Israel permanent rep;resentative at the Uniteed Nations explanation process? Now these Jewish leaders -- do they think they should be part of the Israel permanent representative at the United Nation selecting process?
