There's absolutely NO way that he'll ever be held accountable for his REAL crimes - not in Israel - not in a state that never has, or ever will, hold its hallowed military - or its soldiers - accountable for their deeds against Palestinians. The greatest punishment imaginable for Galant is the loss of this appointment, which matters more to him than anything else anyone could do to hurt him. So if he loses it over the arrogant abuse of his position in the illegal acquisition of this land, instead of the real crimes he committed with that same sense of arrogant impunity, he'll STILL be punished for the same personal failing that led him to BOTH...and justice will be served. The real question though, is whether he'll be elevated above the law over this crime as well.
