May I add to my first response: The Settlers. When Israel needed (very badly) settlers.Very few or may be no Israeli answer the call. The other point, you can not blame the settlers if they are not homogeneous. No group of people or members of one family are the same. Their contribution to Israel, when Israel needed them is far, I believe, than some descrations made by some of them. Mr Gideon should have made that much more clear in his comment. And not to paint all settlers with one brush. Israel is in great danger, and we need unrulley men and women to do things above the law as in all times of serious dangers.The settlers almost did it when tried to oppose the law with their feets. It was an admirable stand that captured the imagination of the entire World. Akram Zekaria.
