Israelis should give up hope of remaining such an exclusionary state. Especially, when one considers how the young populations of the world are moving towards the embrace of multiculturalism. Israelis' embrace of a Jewish state will be considered out of step with the modern world and it will be forced to change.... Indeed, I would argue this is well on its way...Consider the unity vote in the UN last September (2011) to recognize a Palestinian state at the 1967 Green Line ...Or indeed, the growing call for a one state solution, plus the widespread endorsement of boycotts & divestment movements against Israel's stance in the worldwide. I imagine all those forces will eventually merge and at some point. The results I believe will bring about a bloodless kind of an event and shift in orientation.....Too optimististic , I don't think so. I see it already happening around me! Cheers, Dutch
