    But is this really a 'new definition of Zionism' Israel's enemies have been chanting this mantra for decades. Has it really taken you that long to hear it? Your question about he definition of a 'Jewish State' is also an old one: the religious sector have been bleating that for decades as well. But when push comes to shove, do the criteria of admission to this or other piece of dirt really make a difference? Many European countries will gladly accept an African or Indian with a university degree, better still a medical doctor or nurse, knowing full well that they are depriving that person's home country of resources they desperately need, and at the same time will not allow entry to a labourer who has no work at home, whose European wages could support an extended family if not a whole village, and who is prepared to do work that others wouldn't touch. I agree the way in which the Israeli criteria are managed fall short of expectations, to put it mildly, but look at the wider picture and don't fall the 'racism' catch-phrase that happens to the be flavour of this decade.
