You know exactly what the answers are to your questions and I am surprised that you of all people now choose to write an article that in a very subtle way makes apologies. Why would you support the legitimacy of a Jewish state when you know that such a phenomena is the root of the problem. The fact that human beings seek to identify with one sectarian belief or another is basis for insanity and conflict. There can not and will not be peace as long as we raise/brainwash our children into identifying with one sectarian belief or another. Identification with man made beliefs is just that 'man made' and devoid of reality and you well know that it leads to mental imbalance and incredible acts of narcissism. There is no basis or value towards a jewish or palestinian state, but what we rather need is the wisdom to eradicate all such beliefs within our educational and governing bodies in order to allow for people to heal from thousands of years of brainwashing and deluded thinking. Such beliefs only hold personal value (although deluded) and should not be part of the public/civil sphere, just as we will not allow the insane who communicate with imaginary friends/gods to be part of a functional society, as this can only cause conflict, division and dysfunction. Instead, such beliefs should become part of a system that recognizes it's detrimental effects on the global 'human' society and treated accordingly, like any disease or virus that threatens our existence and peaceful intentions.
