GF (if you'd only identify your real name), He never mentioned support of Hamas or its leader. In fact, "He also wrote that he condemned Hamas rocket fire from Gaza into Israel." Imagine the US had an enemy that was split on how to fight the US. Wouldn't it lead to the possibility of finally dealing with one entity in negotiations for peace? Of course it wouldn't guarantee any solution. But, does anyone offer another solution? Will Gilad come home as long as they fight between themselves, or is there a better chance of that if we have one entity with which to deal? They (the 2 main factions) will pressure each other in various directions. Each has what to gain and what to loose. Such are marriages and divorces.
