An American playwright has penned a gripping tale about an Israeli Arab killed in the October 2000 events — and his steadfast sister.02:58 02.05.16 | 0 comments
Come on, this is ridiculous. Ramat Shlomo is a long established Jewish religious neighbourhood in the north of Jerusalem, built on land that was emply before it existed. And the green line was simply the armistice line of 1949 and bears no relationship to the original habitation of the areas inside or outside it. It's way past time that this whole green line business was ditched. Haven't these people criticizing Israel anything better to do? Like for instance supporting the rights of Syrian citizens who are being tortured and murdered by their own government? That sounds a much better use of their time and would actually involve supporting people fighting for their human rights as opposed to criticizing a decision to expand much needed housing for the growing Jewish population, who actually have every right to be there.
