Both movies are class A and their actors are Oscar material period. Scorsese's Big Fellas was about Italian-Sicilian hoodlums and no Italians complained about it (mind you all the movie studios were the brain-childs of smart Jews) and his second second big hit Casino was about the Jews and Italian hoods (Sam Rothstein remember). If Scorsese downplays the Jewish factor in both films then just go along and keep it there.
