Germans are compensating for the horrific crimes they committed against the Jews, and that they should do. Feeling guilty is a bad feeling to have but limiting freedom of speech and prohibiting criticism of Israel will not ease the pain of feeling guilty. Not to mention that such a practice is more in line with Naziism that they so desperately try to distance themselves from. In the meantime, while German guilt has translated into sizable compensations for the Jews, the Palestinians continue losing their homeland acre by acre with no compensations coming their way. Perhaps the Germans who are the main culprit in the Palestinian situation should consider compensating Palestinians, too, not with Dolphin submarines of course but with some acres of land in Bavaria that the German Jews traded for land in Palestine, perhaps!!!
