ok, there are about 6 well known jewish figures appearing on the scene: talkmaster michel friedman (former head of community, very embarassing), writer rafael seligman (very embarassing), charlotte knobloch (head of community, embarassing) on one hand and on the other you have henrik m. broder (cool), leon de winter (cool) and to an certain extent, reich-ranicki (good guy, bit eccentric). now if there is a ME talkshow on ARD, these backstabbing pricks do not invite the cool jewish guys (who, by the way, always have a second home in Israel) but the most horrid ones they can find. e.g. they invited efraim kishon for the most important talk show after 9/11, well knowing he was unbearable. they interviewed de Winter and Broder a couple of times but that was too embarrassing for the critics of Israel so it doesnt fit, once a (pro palestinian) tv host even lost her composure and went "ja, ja sie haben immer recht, oder?" = "youre always right arent you?" to de Winter.
