Undoubtedly the Ashkenazi security establishment is causing some mischief in "Kurdistan" to pursue some short-term goal they feel will strengthen Israel now or secure them a political career in the future. A shame our founding father's care not for the wisdom of America's founding father's who counselled to stay out of foreign fights and wisely stayed out of the French Revolutionary Wars. If they had joined in a dash of idealisic fraternity with the young French Republic they would have been sucked into a resource depleting very long war with all of monarchic Europe and been on the losing side. So who do we think is going to win between Turkey and hte Kurds? Not the Kurds. And Israel cannot seriously support (ie publicly) Kurdish self-determination and deny it to the Palestinians. The contradiction would be as glaring as perstroika and the USSR system of government. I think the Ashkenazi's boots have always been too big for their feet.
