Geller and her ilk just demonstrate its hard to reign in the nutters. Yes, their commentary is offensive and pretty stupid but does it really differ substantively from the accepted Zionist narrative? Israel has played upon and benefitted from anti-Muslim sentiment and has routinely portrayed the Palestinians as 'terrorists' or 'primitives' for years. For how long did Zionists routinely quoted Golda Meir's little offering that there would not be peace until the Palestinians loved their children more than they hated Israel? Is this sentiment any less offensive than Geller's offerings? The only difference I can see is that Geller and co now attack Jews who criticise Zionism (or Israel) and that they are not as skilled or subtle in their hate speech as others.
