Assad? The Al Qaeda rebel faction? The Muslim Brotherhood rebel faction? Living in the Galilee just 45 minutes from the Golan Heights, I can tell you that I am deliriously happy that the Golan remains in our hands. If it was in Syrian hands, we'd have the Syrian civil war raging on the Golan as it is in the rest of Syria, with various jihadi terror groups setting up rockets and missile launchers on the Golan and firing down on us here. Not until the Syrians get their act together can we even think about making "peace" with them. And if a radical Islamist group takes over Syria, kiss any possibility of peace good bye for generations to come.
