I do not believe the withdrawal from Gaza will provide our country with greater security. I do believe our elected government and our leaders should be supported. Many very controversial bills are proposed and passed by our ultra-orthodox elected representatives in the Knessat and I fully support and defend their freedom and right to do so. However, I am astonished at the constant comparison of our government and my fellow-citizens to Nazis and to the Holocaust. What an immoral and perverted "cheapening" of the horrible suffering of our relatives and friends and to their memories. How can requiring a few hundred people to show their I.D. cards be compared to the systematic destruction of six million Jews. The Gaza withdrawal is not a coordinated heinous attempt to destroy our country or our people from the face of the earth. Please, please stop using the comparison to the Holocaust to criticize this very complicated decision by our elected, representative leaders!!
