1. What Israel did last year was not a war, any more than a mugging is a fight. And if they do it again, it won't be a war either. 2. I was part of the Jewish contingent a couple of weeks ago at a pro-Gaza rally here in Toronto, one of a number all over the world. The only Jews opposing us were the Jewish Defense League. A local Jewish newspaper asked where was the rest of the Jewish community? (They actually said 'Israeli community'; they seem to think it is the same thing, which it's not.) Where were they? My guess is: home, not having the chutzpah to try to defend what Israel did in Gaza. What are you thinking?
