The Turkish government is going to get what it apparently wants - the end of diplomatic relations with Israel. Some of shifting political winds are, I believe, fallout from the Iraq war. This is all very troubling, but I believe that the Israeli government cannot allow Gaza to be a launching pad for attacks. Gaza is a terrible demographic problem ... Egypt dosn't want it, and it cannot be a part of Israel. What is it then?
