Arie#4 is wrong. Neither Meretz nor any other Jewish political party in Israel wants the 'islamization' of Israel. Really, people like Arie should stop with this level of lies/fantasy in politics. The situation is serious and serious contributions should be made not stupid abuse. Knesset member Horowitz is a credit to the Land and the parliament of Israel. His interview demonstrated a calm and cultured man who clearly is able to think and speak sensibly and seriously about important matters. The problems faced by same sex attracted persons in Israel can be helped in the first instance with more outreach programs. Gay boys in the ultra Orthodox communities who feel themselves being strangled in pursuit of a God (who may or may not exist) is an agony I personally witmessed over 30 years ago when I lived in Jerusalem. The same situation falls on arab boys who live in mortal fear of actual murder for being gay ... I know of this fear as well from years ago in Jerusalem. American money from gay Jews in the States could be directed toward these two particularly vulnerable groups of boys. I'm sure that there are women who could campaign for similarly vulnerable girls and women in Jewish and arab groups. In the meantime members of Knesset like Mr. Horowitz deserve our thanks and appreciation ... and votes ... for making it just that little bit easier to proudly support Israel.

For Syrian refugees, West is now worse than Assad
