Your information is incorrect. Syria and Lebanon have NOT signed peace treaties with Israel. That is the problem: they host and support illegally armed terror groups to continue their fight against Israel without having to officially declare war. But the Arabs are fortunate that Israel has moral restraints and will NOT misuse its weapons. The war may look bad on the television screen, but most parts of Lebanon and even most neighborhoods of the capital city Beirut are quiet and fully functioning. Remember that Germany's Nazi government, at the time, would not surrender before Germany and half of the European continent were demolished. So, things in Lebanon could be far worse than they are. Hopefully, Hizbullah can be brought down to its knees without causing too much damage to Lebanon.
