The Palestinian 'right of return' to Israel proper was not included in UN SCR 242 or 338. They only refer to a resolution of the 'refugee' issue. GA 194 doesn't cover descendants born in other countries. There is no 'right of return' to Israel proper in the Roadmap to Peace' either. If Palestine mirrors a Law of Return, it will be to Palestine only. Olmert offered limited 'family re-unification' in his offer. The 'right of return' has never been accepted in International Law. Otherwise 10 million Germans can return to Poland and Czech, 4 million Greeks can take over Istanbul and Izmir from Turkey, etc, etc. ad infinitum. The 'Right of Return' of descendants of refugees born in foreign countries' is a Palestinian fantasy. Israel is sovereign within its borders and can accept or reject whoever it wishes. The precedent would be devastating to scores of countries and it has never been included in international law.
