First, historical documents show that the Jews were always related to as a distinct nation until the propaganda war that began in the 20th century. Second, DNA testing has proven in peer-reviewed journals over and over that the Jews are a distinct biological group from the area of the eastern Mediterranean. Third, that Judaism accepted converts is no different than other nations accepting immigrants. What confuses people is that Judaism is simultaneously a religion and a nationality, and always has been. The fact that as a nation we have a common religion does not detract from our connectedness as a people, but only adds to it. Do your own research and you'll verify everything I've written here.
