As an Orthodox woman who was raised by VERY environmentally conscious parents (way before it was cool!), I AM concerned about the environment and global warming. I keep my heat low, try not to use plastic and do my dishes instead, ect. However, (and this is unfortunate), it's not one of my top priorities. As Orthodox Jews, we have SO MANY demands, expensive demands, that few things that aren't immediate truly become top priority. Plus, going to Pearlstone and being involved with Isabella Friedman can be extremely expensive.
