The results suggest Iran's next parliament will be more supportive of President Rohani's drive for economic reforms, but conservatives will remain a powerful force.13:31 30.04.16 | 0 comments
It would be stupid of me to pass judgment at this early hour as to the fault for the fire and the governments response, so I won't. In these pages, in the past, I have made many comments about the Israeli government's attitude and actions regarding peace and justice for Israelis and Palestinians. I stand by them. Many will suggest that the fire is a Judgment from God on Israel. Judgment for what depends on your point of view: Judgment for injustices against the occupied? Judgment for even negotiating a settlement of the Palestinian issue by facilitating the creation of state for population of the West Bank and Gaza? That of course is the problem with theology, each believes that they know the mind of God. When translated into a theocracy, say as in Iran and some would have in Israel, then the peaceful resolution of differing points of view becomes impossible. I only pray you all don't go down that path.
