Akiva Eldar you cannot freeze such persons who have psychotic delusions and notions of megalomania. In fact there is something wrong with his psyche and roots as he was born and brought up in Soviet Russia , born out of parents who resided in Gulag Concentration camps , where his father was performing security duties. The hell of the mass prison must have deeply imprinted on his immature mind with negative ramifications. Besides what do you expect from such a person who has a history of conviction for assaulting a 12 year child, indictment for having classified information and a host of corruption charges being currently investigated against him. He has a very deep personal stake in foiling the peace talks as he is himself a settler. The irony is that the new immigrants, mostly from former totalitarian regimes are not given any crash course in democratic norms in Israel, instead they are re-baptized to Judaism.
