It should be troubling to all the very idea of banning political parties because their positions are not politically correct. Either a country is a democracy or not; if it is, then the people get to vote on the individual with whom they agree. This is the will of the people. Political correctness is antithetical to representative democracy, as is enacting laws that limit freedom of speech, thought, or inquiry. It certainly is curious that there are only laws limiting speech, research and inquiry into one horror, but not others. Anyone is welcome to research, inquire and speak about Pol Pot, Khmer Rouge, Stalin or Mao, but not this one subject. Why? Clearly this is motivated by a fear - but fear of what? Very strange. I am also curious whether this will be chosen to be published or not. I guess we'll see.
