It's in Israel's best interest to petition for peace, not America's, and so the US shouldn't be arm-wrestled into releasing Mr. Pollard to keep the peace negotiations open. In fact, they should be concluded by April. Has anyone consulted with President Abbas and the Palestinians about this to see what they would prefer?
