While Ron Paul advocates the free market, Keynes is behind the economic stimulus during a depression and Adam Smith said free markets (libertarian) is against labor laws and laws that protect the working person and helps serve the vested interests of the rich. Ron Paul is still a social conservative, who is against govt. managing welfare and social security; he would be against the Post Office or patents,also, I believe, since these are regulated by the govt. I really don't think people really understand everything Ron Paul stands for, but he has a snappy tune about no more war that resonates among the young, who may have to go back to school and study philosophy and economics some more.
