    heck, why Israel and why Jerusalem?! Okay there might be a case for the Palestinians, and then again, prior to 634 C.E. Jerusalem wasn't the capitol of anything when it was called Palestine-Syria, except for the Early Church Fathers. Before that it was the Province Judea, of course, but who cares about "that little detail". Anyway, what did the Secretary General do when the Dalai Lama comes to NY--dare he cause an international incident with the People's Republic of China, or when the people of East Timor were fighting for self-determination from the Indonesians, where was the General Assembly? I guess the power petroleum brings allows the Arab Palestinians to lead the fray, though . . . considering how the alternatives are going, their power to win friends and influence people might not be as effective down the road.
