State says nobody has a right to sell the drafts on the open market for a profit, as this infringes on the state's right to keep an asset 'of deep symbolic significance' that belongs to the state and the public.01:40 27.11.15 | 0 comments
Although I am a friend of Israel, regardless of who is in government, this sounds amazingly racist. If Israeli Arab MKs are openly supporting those at war with the State of Israel they might be tried for treason and imprisoned, although it is more likely they would initially be warned and then expelled from the Knesset. We can't say it is OK for Jewish leftists to attack government policy as part of their freedom of speech, but revoke their citizenship if Israeli Arabs do the same thing. This law could endanger the foundation of a democratic society.
