peace is not always achieved without turmoil. one thing is certain, by pre-denying any and all proposals that are not ours (israeli), we guarantee that nothing will happen. strenger is correct. it appears that netanyahu wants to delay until his barrier/wall/fence is completed and then sit down and have the palestinians sign on the dotted line. this will never happen, as we have seen to date. furthermore, to expect the current regime to change its stripes, is unlikely to happen. what is now required is a new group, which really wants peace now and is willing to sit and discuss on an equal basis with abbas. we have two years to do this since obama will probably not get reelected.
