'I am ashamed that I saw injustice and never did anything about it,' Reinhold Hanning tells German courtroom.01:17 30.04.16 | 1 comments
War is a very expensive means of trying to resolve a problem. Though it also serves as a field for testing arms and weaponry, it also leads to a lot of destruction and death...and there is no guarantee that it ultimately resolves the problem for which the war was waged. Fair and Just Peace is a much cheaper option....no death no destruction probably leads to problem resolution. A one state solution would allow the Palestinians to live in what they regard as Palestine, It will allow Jews to live in to what they regard as their promised land and would allow both to " do unto the others what you would have them do unto you." Besides Palestinians and Israelis have been living together on this land since at least 1900 (start of history). All it takes is for Israel the strong party to give the Palestinians similar and equal rights to the Israelis and vice-versa. Zionist Jews and Palestinians live in the USA and Europe in secular counties having equal rights under the law practicing their own religious beliefs. So why not apply this model in (Israel/Palestine). Wouldn't that be a smart move and would it not lead to lasting peace and happiness for both?
