Perhaps if the charges were investigated by a neutral, respected international tribunal and found groundless, such international activity against Israeli leaders may stop. If Israel will not cooperate with a neutral international investigation, why should the world accept exoneration by internal Israeli investigations when scenes of the destruction in Gaza have been so widely circulated. If Israel does not need the rest of the world, it can ignore them. If Israel wants to be part of a community of nations, it needs to refute evidence that on its face seems to show that Israel did not behave in accordance with accepted international norms.
