    I didn't hear the statement you mention, but let's assume it's true. Israel doesn't WANT an inch of Lebanon. Israel wants PEACE with lebanon. The border is clear and certified by the UN in 2000 and again in 2006. (Blue Line). If Lebanon wouldn't be the cowardly place always offering its body as a launching pad for the next Israel-hating terrorist sect (PLO, FPLP, DFLP, Hezballah) and if lebanon would be a sovereign country, there would be peace. It is terrible to have to invade another country in order to stop the launching of missiles against your civilians. It is pathetic, it is tragic, and it is totally Lebanon's, Syria's and Iran's fault. Israel would be ready to sign complete peace with lebanon TODAY if resolution 1701 would be upheld and not trampled vox populi, like Nasrallah's Hizballah does.
