The "Lebanese" who claims a Hezbollah "victory" at Beit Jbal is a victim of the Orwellian Doublespeak which afflicts this issue. Victory has been redefined as the ability to fight back for a short time before being defeated. The facts are that whenever Hezbollah goes into battle against the IDF it is defeated. All that differs is the ease of the defeat. It is important for all involved to realize that Hezbollah has no chance of a military victory. Where Lebanese can take heart is that Hezbollah is scoring massive propaganda victories, the best it can hope for. The way Hezbollah sacrificed its children to gain a propaganda victory at Qana reminds me of what Golda Meir said "Peace will come to the Middle East when Arabs love their children more than they hate Jews". That pleasant situation is not yet with us.
