Hi Gina, The "offer" in 200 would have lead to the creation of economically non-viable cantons. No politician in his right mind would or could accept that on behalf of his own people. What offer are you talking about in 1967? - that's a straight question not a debating point. Golda Meir around that time was saying that there was no such thing as the Palestinian people so it seems odd that Israel would be "offering" them a state. There was the proposal for a Palestinian sate that came out of the Camp David talks in 1978 but that was turned down by Israel.
