"Politicians may or may not change but the IDF has already." I'm not talking about the soldiers of Israel, British Jew, but about the irredeemable rottenness and corruption of the politicians who run Israel. As far as the IDF are concerned, they may well be tested again. There is no doubt that the Israeli Air Force is capable of destroying civilian infrastructure, but when it comes activity on the ground the IDF will still face well-trained fighters, well armed with modern weapons, well motivated and experts in guerrilla warfare. Israel should be in no rush to put them to the test. In the closing days of the war the IDF lost 30 men in hand to hand fighting to gain a supposedly strategic hill overlooking the Litani River. Remember too that Hezbollah will have learnt lessons.
