This is a foolish analogy. The 56' Sinai campaign was about French and English colonial interests in Egypt, especially as regards the nationalization of the Suez Canal, coupled with Israel's interest in foiling the fedayeen and sending a message to Egypt. The situation vis' a vis' Iran is very different, and this was an amazingly poor analogy.
