Hamas's promises aren't worth anything to us. Their idea of a 'cease-fire' is for Israel to cease and for them to fire. They've proved it. I believe their actions and not their empty words and the support that they get from people here whose motives are known to us makes me doubly suspicious. If Hamas doesn't like the game we can just make a new one without them. It's become very clear that the West Bank and Gaza people belong to two very different types of culture, despite the clamorous claims to the contrary. People who are prepared to murder each other for political motives aren't exactly suited to make a society together. The quicker the whole situation in the West Bank is settled the better. Let the next generation of West Bank arab children grow up in peace and not in the shadow of the shaheed.
