As others, I fail to understand why the military is exercising such restraint with regard to these villages. I am no expert, but I am sure that the IDF and IAF are capable of flattening this village, and from media accounts, it would appear that the villages have been deserted by civilians. So why not focus a heavy air campaign and destroy the village without risking soldier's lives. I haven't seen any comments from military personnel or analysts, and I am curious to know what others think. The soldiers are heroes and should be proud of what they are doing. I know I am.
