Salmon Rusdie wrote a book from the UK and had a fatwah against him.The danish cartoon artist and his newspaper also caused a furor. 9/11,Bali,London,Madrid,Thailand,The Phillipines have all suffered bombs from terrorists OUTSIDE of the ME. They dont want us there but they will bring the battle to wherever the infidels are. NO they are not all fundamentalists but the moderates have no will to fight the fundamentalists either and no other alternative of a core other than corruption to hang onto. They blame us for causing civil wars but they need a revolution. They cant have it both ways.Syria is more of a problem for its allowance of fundamentalism to flow through its country to attack others elsewhere and an important strategic point for America to pull in. I am not a Bush fan but understand that it is there fighting for the protection and development of democracy while arabs in America and elsewhere are negative to its stance. They cant have it both ways.
