The meeting is set for six days from now, DC time. The question Israelis should ask is will Obama publicly throw up his hands and state that neither side wants US help. And that the US will walk away from the effort and let Israel build itself into a single state inevitability with separate but unequal as its modus operandi. That was called segregation by George Wallace and the Southern Crackers. It was called Apartheid in South Africa. It will have its own unique name in the context of this conflict. Bibi may not even want this. But it is the inevitable result of his policy and that of his predecessors. Likud and Hamas are a matched pair. Both want it all. Their methodology might be slightly different, but their aim is the same. And Likud has the might of a US equipped army to enforce its will.
