The purpose of game theory is to win. It is not to trade your advantage for time so that your opponent can gather the strength to destroy you, nor is it to avoid winning so that the spectators who hate you won't be upset. Gideon Levy and his ilk simply do not want Israel to prevail in its war with the Arabs. That his desires are endorsed by the likes of Johanes Franzen, Khalid, Dutch and others of their ilk says it all. Israel has the ability to prevail against its enemies only if it has the will to make Israel as much a Jewish State as the Arab nations are Muslim states. The Benny Elon transfer plan should be adopted and enforced; the borders of Israel should be those achieved after the defensive war of 1967 (with the obvious yet unfortunate exception that the agreement with Egypt will be honored as long as Egypt honors its end of the bargain); and Israel should seal its borders with Gaza. Jordan will be the Palestinian state, and Gaza will be part of Egypt. Then Israel wins.
