for raining artillery into Israel up until the day the Israelis finally said, enough is enough. Frankly, there ought to be a deterrence rule in international law that says a country forfeits land between its frontier and the area in which it is attacking another country without provocation. In any event, Syrian sure deserves to pay a big, big price. We will also have to throw in the Jewish Syrian expulsion into any negotiation. Arabs seem to think that is a non-issue. Forget about it, won't work.
