he seems to make more of a big deal about being an Arab than any Israeli would care. He's looking for prejudice, suspecting it, expecting it - but seemingly rarely seeing it - and his only explanation is that he's not as Arab as he could be. Perhaps the explanation is that Israelis aren't as racist as you're expecting them to be. Arabs in Israel need to chill out. Time to move on from a name of a region that used to exist. Time to get rid of the small time tribal mentality. Why does an Israeli Arab born and brought up in Israel let Gaza cloud his thoughts and hamper his integration? Seems daft to me. All for a region that once existed under different empires but disappeared just like ancient Israel and countless other examples.
