In terms of "first" accepting palestinian "rights" for 100% of the west bank, gaza strip and jerusalem, I would seriously laugh at that prospect, for it is not the prospect hamas wants to establish. According to the hamas charter, it quite specifically and clearly states that Israel must accept palestinian occupation of 100% of Israel not just these pieces. Along with your post and #18 and many other posts, I would ask you to look as who has the upper hand? I believe we can surely agree that Israeli's live a better life than Palestinians do in these territories (and not to mention even than Palestinians in Arab countries). Once we admit this reality, making these demands is O.K. for the democratically elected hamas, though Israel has to agree to 0% of the demands. Though I am sure a small percentage of Israeli's occasionally dying in suicide attacks will suffer, the entire palestinian people in the terrotories will be the ultimate loosers. Here's to 100% demands!
